Contact
The fastest way to reach us is by email at hello@workingdayscalculator.co.uk. We try to reply within two working days (using, naturally, the calendar these calculators run on).
What to include
- Bug reports: what you did, what you expected, what actually happened. Screenshots help. Browser and device matter for display issues.
- Feature requests:what calculation you’re trying to do and why the current tools don’t cover it.
- Data corrections: we source bank holiday dates from gov.uk so any correction needs to be visible there first — but if you spot a discrepancy with what gov.uk publishes, please do tell us.
Response times
We are a small team, so we batch replies rather than monitoring the inbox around the clock. Most messages get a reply within two working days — counted, as it happens, on exactly the calendar these tools run on, so a message sent the day before a bank holiday weekend may take a little longer. Genuine errors in the data jump the queue, because an incorrect date undermines the whole point of the site. We do not offer phone support; keeping everything in writing means we can look into a problem properly and give you an answer we have checked.
How we handle your message
Email is the only channel we run, which keeps things simple and means nothing gets lost in a contact form. When you write to us, we use your message and email address only to reply to you and, where relevant, to fix the issue you have raised. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass your details to anyone else. If your query leads to a change on the site, we may keep a brief note of the issue — without your personal details — so we can track that it was resolved.
Reporting a wrong date
Accuracy is the whole point of this site, so we take date corrections seriously. Bank holiday dates here are drawn from the official gov.uk bank holidays feed, which is our single source of truth. If you believe a date is wrong, the quickest way to help is to check it against gov.uk first. If it disagrees with what we show, tell us — that is a genuine bug and we will fix it promptly. If gov.uk itself announces a new or changed holiday, we update the data and every page that depends on it.
Accessibility
We want the calculators to work for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or high-contrast settings. If you hit a barrier — a control you cannot reach, text that does not scale, or anything that is hard to read — please tell us what you were using and what went wrong, and we will do our best to put it right.
What we cannot help with
We are not able to give legal, financial, or tax advice, and we cannot interpret your specific contract, notice period, or payroll situation for you. The calculators and guides explain the general rules and do the arithmetic; for binding guidance on a specific deadline or entitlement, please consult a solicitor, accountant, or other suitably qualified professional. For questions about holiday entitlement and pay specifically, our sister site, the UK Holiday Pay Calculator, may also help.
